These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Būkd's website, mobile apps, and related services.

By accessing or using Būkd, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• If you use Būkd for a business, you represent that you are authorized to act for that business.

3. What Būkd Provides

Būkd provides software tools for discovering venues, viewing schedules, making and managing bookings, and operating venue workflows.

Venues and organizers are independent operators responsible for their own facilities, policies, staffing, and service delivery.

4. Bookings, Payment Methods, and Statuses

• Booking outcomes depend on venue configuration (for example, instant vs. review approval modes) and available payment methods.
• Bookings may change status (such as pending, awaiting payment, confirmed, cancelled, rejected, expired, or completed) based on venue or user actions and timing rules.
• Some bookings require payment proof uploads. You are responsible for submitting accurate, lawful, and non-fraudulent payment evidence.
• Payment and cancellation outcomes may depend on venue-specific rules and applicable law.
• Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Būkd does not act as a payment processor or escrow agent. Payments are made directly between users and venues using venue-configured methods.

5. Business/Admin Responsibilities

• Business users are responsible for the accuracy of venue information, schedules, pricing, and booking settings.
• Business users must only invite or assign team access to people authorized to manage venue operations.
• When uploading venue media or ownership documents, you confirm you have the right to use and share that content.

6. User Content and License

• You retain ownership of content you submit (such as profile details, reviews, and uploads).
• You grant Būkd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display submitted content solely to operate and improve the service.
• You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, abusive, malicious, or otherwise violates these terms.

7. Reviews and Public Information

• Reviews should be based on genuine booking experiences and must be respectful and truthful.
• Būkd may moderate, limit, or remove reviews or public content that violates these terms or applicable law.
• Certain profile and venue data may be publicly visible as part of discovery and review features.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Do not misuse the service, including unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with normal operation.
• Do not use Būkd to violate laws, commit fraud, or infringe rights of others.
• Do not attempt to bypass security, role permissions, or payment/booking controls.

9. Third-Party Services

Būkd integrates third-party services, including infrastructure providers for authentication, storage, and data operations (currently Supabase), and map providers (Mapbox, Apple Maps, and Google Maps).

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Būkd if we reasonably believe there is misuse, a security risk, or a violation of these terms.

You may stop using Būkd at any time.

11. Disclaimers

Būkd is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that all venue listings and availability are always current.

Būkd is not responsible for disputes between users and venues regarding services, refunds, cancellations, or venue conduct, except where required by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Būkd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, any direct liability is limited to amounts you paid directly to Būkd for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Būkd harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.

Continuing to use Būkd after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
